Good news is on the horizon for property buyers.

UK house prices show the first signs of recovery from recent declines following the pandemic. According to Nationwide Building Society, UK house prices have risen by 0.5% in April 2023. The average UK house price in April 2023 is £260,441. This is the first price rise in seven months.

The latest house prices taken together with industry data showing increased levels of mortgage applications in February 2023, suggest signs of recovery in the UK property market.
